About me

An engineer by training, inventor by application, and an enthusiastic community builder by practice.

I came to yoga in 2017 while living in California—seeking balance amid marathon miles and my work as a materials engineer at a biotech start-up. What began as a welcome complement quickly grew into a calling, guiding me into the worlds of mindfulness, meditation, and self-study, and ultimately into my 500-hour RYT certification.

Since then, I’ve had the delight of leading more than 10 global retreats (and attending even more!) I love weaving wellness into everyday environments, whether through corporate programs and workshops with teams like Google or through conferences and longevity gatherings that bring curious minds together. My current admirations are Greece and Costa Rica while I continue to flirt and learn the world. Come with me! Photo: Birch Thomas in Greece (@birch)

I partner with students and community to engineer experiences that invite learning, healing, discovery and growth. My mission is to bring to life the concept of experiencing your fullest Journey of Yourself (JOY).

I am constantly learning and I love to share so that my experience may inform the creation of your experience.

I recently moved back to the Boston area after spending some time abroad in Nosara, Costa Rica, and Greece. The space, variety, and practice of settling into home in many locations throughout the year has offered a profound perspective on the importance of developing daily habits that align intentions and attentions for creations, observations, and community. I am delighted to share parts of my global travels through practice both on and off the yoga mat.
